What’s Up With Gospel Radio Show

Hi! Welcome to the What’s Up with Gospel Radio Show page. My project explores the bodily nature of gospel music. The conversations do not merely describe the songs that are playing, but rather the conversations center around the joy and meaning derived from the songs. I interviewed college-aged students who have an extensive religious background. Sabrina Simpson is a graduate student at Bowie State University completing her Masters in Education. Sabrina is also a third grade Elementary school teacher at Sense Charter School in Indianapolis. Simone is an artist and college student at Valparaiso University studying Visual arts. Simone is also a Chicago-based artist. The interviews are informal and simply take the form of a regular conversation between friends. I did not add too much structure to these interviews since the project is reflective and for entertainment purposes only. Enjoy! 🙂
